Dr. Claire Godsey MD is a fourth year resident and chief training in internal medicine and pediatrics at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, Wisconsin. She completed medical school at Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine and will be returning to the Dayton area to work in hospital medicine after completing residency. Just as she sees a range of patients in a variety of settings, she participates in an assortment of medical ventures. She is actively involved in quality improvement at the system level as a member of the sepsis committee and at the resident level she has been developing assessment tools and workshops to improve clinical documentation.
Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic her research has primarily focused on how the influence of the novel corona virus and associated public health responses impacted critical illness in pediatric patients.
