Hannah Kafisheh, PharmD, BCCCP is a Clinical Pharmacist at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC). She is originally from Dallas, TX and received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. She later received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Jefferson College of Pharmacy in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Kafisheh completed both her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency and PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency at PPMC.
Her research experience includes outpatient antimicrobial stewardship for patients discharged from the Emergency Department and antimicrobial prophylaxis in traumatic open fractures. During her residency training, she also completed an extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) anticoagulation evaluation and a medication use evaluation focused on liposomal bupivacaine utilization.
Dr. Kafisheh is an active member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM).
