Corey Witenko, PharmD, BCPS, BCCCP is a critical care clinical pharmacist in the surgery/trauma ICU at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York, New York. He received his PharmD degree from the University of Georgia, College of Pharmacy. Thereafter, he completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency at UF Health Jacksonville in Jacksonville, Florida, and a PGY2 critical care residency at the University of North Carolina Medical Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Since then, he practiced as a critical care clinical pharmacist at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital prior to coming to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in 2016. Currently, Dr. Witenko is the director for the PGY1 pharmacy residency program and has a faculty appointment as an instructor at the Weill Cornell Graduate School Master of Sciences in Health Sciences for Physician Assistants. His clinical and research interests focus on pharmacotherapy in the immediate post-trauma and post-surgical populations.
