Reka Somodi is a surgical critical care nurse practitioner working at the VA Medical Center and at Penn Medicine. She began her advanced practice career by joining and forming the first hospital-based nurse practitioners at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in 2006. Reka has held various leadership and clinical roles in Trauma and Surgical Critical Care at Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health and Jersey Shore Medical Center, as well as a serving academically at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Nursing, where she serves as the Course Director for the Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship. She recently completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at the University of Pennsylvania.
