Henrique A. Puls, MD graduated from the Federal University of Health Sciences of Porto Alegre in Brazil and is currently an Emergency Medicine resident at the University of Michigan. After he finishes his Emergency Medicine training, he will be joining Stanford University's Critical Care Medicine team as a Critical Care fellow. His academic interests include improving the quality, delivery, and standardization of care to critically ill patients in the Emergency Department; the teaching of critical care ultrasound; and the intersection between critical care delivery in the Emergency Department and inpatient Intensive Care Units.
