Victoria Miles is a PGY5 general surgery resident at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Chattanoga. She hopes to pursue a career in trauma and burn surgery. Her current areas of research include thromboelastography in trauma resuscitation, platelet inhibition in traumatic brain injury, and stress hyperglycemia in traumatic injury. She is completing the third year of her term as the RAS representative to the ACS Committee on Resident Education. She serves on the EAST Burn Surgery and AAST Critical Care committees.
