Pace (“Pacey) Wetstein, known by some as Cardiologist@Heart, is a passionate premed student, and recently graduated from Stevenson University in Baltimore, MD. He is fortunate to have taken part in cardiology research at Johns Hopkins and published in JAHA, intern in University of Maryland PICU and Shock Trauma, and receive mentoring from physicians in several fields. He is the only pre-med student at CardioNerds cardiology podcasts, where he is an intern, guiding the team in the production of high-quality podcasts. Additionally, Pacey works with pride at a covid testing lab in Baltimore County, MD performing PCR and antigen tests, and performing venipuncture for SARS-COVID antibody tests on a diverse patient population. While diligently studying for the MCAT (scheduled for end of January 2022), he maintains a strong passion for cardiology and medicine at-large. Pacey is also a lifeguarding and basic life support instructor for the American Red Cross, and an amateur radio operator as a volunteer for RACES (Relay Amateur Communications Emergency Service of Baltimore County, MD). As a hobby, Pacey enjoys taking nature walks, cycling on Zwift, and vocal training with his voice teacher.
