Dr. Zorko Garbajs attended medical school in Ljubljana, Slovenia, where she graduated with special recognition. After finishing her residency in Neurology, she proceeded to work as a consultant Neurologist for 4 years. She is currently in her Critical Care Fellowship and enrolled in a Neurosciences Ph.D. program. In 2020/2021 she was honored to receive a Fulbright scholarship, enabling her to join the Mayo Clinic Multidisciplinary Epidemiology and Translational Research (METRIC) group in Rochester as a Visiting Research Fellow. Her main interests are Vascular Neurology and Neurocritical Care.
