Anitha Vijayan MD is Professor of Medicine, in the Division of Nephrology at Washington University in St. Louis. She is a member of the American Society of Nephrology COVID-19 Response Team and the Chair of the Acute Kidney Care Subcommittee. Her main research interest is AKI and delivery of RRT in critically ill patients with AKI. She has published widely in this area. She is the Medical Director of Acute Dialysis Services at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO. She is also a Steering Committee member of ASN-AKI!NOW and Editor of the Washington University Nephrology Manual.
