Carly Clayman, Ph.D., is a Research Scientist at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She received her doctorate in Behavior, Cognition, and Neuroscience from American University in 2017 and her M.S. in Data Analytics from Pennsylvania State University, School of Graduate and Professional Studies, Great Valley in 2019. She received her B.S. in Neuroscience, Biology, and Psychology from Ursinus College in 2013. Carly specializes in research studying effects of pharmaceuticals and toxins on zebrafish development and behavior. She also focuses on analyzing biological and behavioral datasets using techniques in data analytics such as machine learning. Her current research in the lab of Todd Kilbaugh, M.D., at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia assesses the effects of mitochondrial targeted therapeutics on sodium fluoroacetate toxicity using high-throughput studies in zebrafish, one of several model systems used in the lab.
