Julie E. Farrar, Pharm.D., BCCCP is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy and Translational Science at the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy. She grew up in Louisiana and is an alumna of the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy in Memphis. Dr. Farrar completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in 2020 and her PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency at the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2021. Dr. Farrar has served on multiple national committees for the American College of Clinical Pharmacy and is an active member of SCCM having presented multiple abstracts at SCCM Critical Care Congress meetings. Her research interests include pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic changes in critically ill populations, venous thromboembolism prophylaxis, and sedation and analgesia in mechanically ventilated patients.
