I'm a pharmacist, I have a PhD in science, and I have studied neuroscience, with an emphasis on cerebral hemodynamics and intracranial pressure. I work with the design and development of scientific projects, data collection in patients and animals and development of python data analytics algorithms.
In my doctoral thesis, I showed that it is possible to detect small cranial expansions non-invasively. The results showed that it is possible to correlate the skull pulsation with the intracranial pressure pulse. This discovery allowed the development of a noninvasive sensor to monitor the intracranial pressure pulses, and consequently intracranial compliance.
I founded brain4care, a Brazilian company responsible for manufacturing the noninvasive sensor for monitoring the morphology of the intracranial pressure pulse. Currently, I am a researcher at the Medical School of the University of São Paulo and the scientific director of brain4care.
