Dr. Jackie Johnston is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, at Rutgers and a Critical Care Pharmacist. Her clinical practice site is a combined surgical/trauma/neurologic intensive care unit, at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey, where she serves as faculty to the surgical critical care fellowship and as the PGY-1 Pharmacy Resident Program Director. She recieved her doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Connecticut and completed her PGY-1 and PGY-2 residencies at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Dr. Johnston is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist with additional areas of interests including status epilepticus, infectious disease and alcohol withdrawal.
