When a patient has an intracerebral hemorrhage (e.g., parenchymal hemorrhage, subdural or epidural hematomas, subarachnoid hemorrhage), intensivists who have not been trained in neurology or neurosurgery may initially be uncertain as to its treatment. This session will provide practical advice on how to care for these patients in the initial minutes after diagnosis, before obtaining neurology or neurosurgery input (if sought).
